COMPUTERIZED VIDEOKERATOSCOPES DATA DISPLAY



At least one instrument (Orbscan) 
determines the corneal topography 
by digitizing a series of light slits 
(optic sections) across the cornea.   
This technique has the advantage of 
being able to make measurements 
from limbus to limbus, to determine 
the corneal thickness of the whole 
cornea and to give the back surface 
geometry.   The elevation at each 
point of the cornea is determined.
